Created to manage groups of Plus chargers, SmartCloud is a WebApp that connects several Plus chargers to a centralised system, where profiles can be created, stations enabled and credit managed remotely. This function is particularly suitable for companies and indoor/outdoor environments.
Prepaid ePower is a system created by Plus in 1999, and is now in its 3rd version.
A transponder contains a credit that is loaded by a program connected to a PC and depletes the credit via the RFID connected to the socket, which charges for the amount of power delivered to the vehicle.
Charging is authorised via an RFID card based identification system and a reader (optional) installed on the charging station or via a WebApp that connects the phone to the station via Bluetooth to enable the sockets and authorise charging. This ensures that recharging is only available to those who are authorised.
This is the most useful and widely used system in home charging. It automatically starts charging after the car is connected to the cable plugged into the charging stations. Obviously this type is very simple as it provides no form of control or supervision and charging starts automatically.
